Watch: F1 is like Top Gun: Maverick but not as good. Kerry Condon is a moviestar who gets to be from Tipperary in major motion pictures now. Five stars, highly recommend.

Listen: Andrew Hickey’s playlist “The Core of Brian Wilson,” which you can import to wherever you listen to music. It captures so much of what Brian meant to me, and if you are a neurodivergent person prone to depression, oh boy, it’ll rattle your soul.

Read: Ian Leslie presumably wrote John & Paul: A Love Story in Songs specifically for me to enjoy, and oh boy, I enjoyed it. He basically argues that everyone tells the story of the Beatles as John vs. Paul, but it was always, always — even when they hated each other — John and Paul, and that we have failed to tell their story accurately because we have no language to articulate male relationships that more than friendship but not homosexual love. It is beautiful and lovely but doesn’t shy away from the raw and ugly and painful parts, too. An excellent resource for the next time I get into an argument about The Beatles, as is my wont.

Check out otherwise: I’m not sure I understand how Linxicon works and I am definitely bad at it, but it is a fun game that I will play nevertheless.
